Typically, people tune in to Jones.Show to hear me chat with a guest. More often than not, this person will entertain us and teach us something or make me gush uncontrollably because I can’t believe they actually agreed to talk to me in the first place.
I’m also really big on chatting with people who have influenced my life in a positive way—in hopes that you will get the same benefit.
But today, I want to talk about someone and they are NOT here? In Randyland, it’s okay to talk about someone behind their back IF you’re sharing the love. And this week, my love is HUGE. And since I’m recording it, it’s kinda not “behind their back,” either.
To tell this story, I’m going to read an excerpt from my book, “Show Me.” Hopefully, this will also help placate those of you who complained that I never did an audiobook, too!
So, let’s travel back in time to find me, two supermoms, a Mark Twain-inspired scene, and a 9-year-old actress named Jodie who fostered a brand-new way for 9-year-old me to look at my life.
